I have also tried to reinstall guest additions numerous times (w/o uninstalling first). “Seamless Mode” and “Auto-resize Guest Display” are both grayed out in the “View” menu, as are all other resolutions under the Virtual Screen 1 menu item. ![]() I have also tried using the command line to set custom resolution (vboxmanage setextradata "VM machine name" "CustomVideoMode1" "1920x1080x32"), have tried full screen, scaled mode, resizing the window manually. I have tried all kinds of combinations of the VM settings (different paravirtualization interfaces, enable/disable: nested paging, PAE/NX, 3D acceleration, different base and video memory size), as well as different preferences in VM VirtualBox Manager for display: automatic, none, hint (with all kinds of options). ![]() I’m using VBoxSVGA as graphics controller. I’m using VirtualBox VM 6.1.32 r149290 win.amd64, with Guest Additions installed and with the latest Extension Pack. My host is Windows 10 (64-bit), my guest is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit). Also, the aspect ratio is not the 16:9 I need. The only choices I get are either really small, or too large (vertically), so that I have to scroll up/down to view the whole screen. ![]() ![]() In short, I’m am unable to get my VM to run in the correct resolution, which is 1920 x 1080 for my laptop (standard Intel CPU / chipset). I have tried all of them, but none solved my issue, so I would like to ask this again. Hi – over the past 2.5 years I have seen a lot of different threads and read hundreds of replies and watched countless YouTube videos on solutions how to enable full-screen resolution.
